What do you shoot with?

Likely the question I most often receive.

Nikon Z8. The best damn camera ever.

Z lenses offer superb glass. I 100% trust my gear to get the shots I create.

…I cant say enough about how happy I am with my gear.

Do you Photoshop?

I think when people ask this they really are trying to understand how to make an image as sharp and colorful and almost 3 dimensional. There is an art of post processing that goes so beyond hitting a filter button. I shoot only in RAW and upload all my images directly to Adobe Lightroom ® It mimics in many ways the old school Darkroom and allows for me to create the exact image that I was seeing while I was shooting. Cameras actually all process an exposure internally so it is up to the photographer to bring out the real beauty of an image with their post processing skills.

How did you open your own Gallery?

Graham and I did the art fair circuit for a few grinding years. We learned much while setting up displays and hardcore selling my photography over a 48 hour period. I decided that I wanted to create an ambiance that was NYC, meshed with the beach vibe and open a space that allowed my work to really shine and allow people to sit back and absorb the zen qualities. I did not want to rush a viewer. It is important to me to showcase my images in their final metal format in this incredible space we designed and built. We are celebrating 8 years now of residency here in our gallery.
